Prospective Students

Welcome to the admissions process

Greygarth Hall welcomes applications from male students studying for undergraduate or postgraduate degrees at the universities in Manchester, regardless of race, nationality or creed.

Applicants resident in Britain are normally offered an opportunity to visit the hall and to have an interview with the Warden.

It is assumed that most applicants will be seeking accommodation for the full academic year.

However, especially in vacations, a number of places may be available to short-stay residents who should apply in the normal way.

What we offer?

Life at Greygarth revolves around the main College residence on campus, where students engage in various activities and enjoy an ideal environment for study and friendship, making the most of their university experience.

All Greygarth residents have access to the facilities of the hall and their needs are taken care of.

Admission Process

Fill up the form

Fill out the form you will find here. You will be required to provide information such as your personal details, school grades, education details and other additional details like interest, sports and letter of recommendation (optional) from your parents, guardians, etc.

Personal Interview

After receiving the Admission Application, the Hall will contact the student who has applied for the place to arrange a date for the personal interview. We especially value this moment of the admission process because it allows us to get to know the student, their concerns and interests. For the rest, it is an opportunity for both the student and the family to learn first-hand about how the Residence Hall works and obtain answers to any questions they may have.

Resolution of the interview

Once the interview has been completed, the Admissions Committee of the Residence Hall will examine your application and will inform you of its decision by e-mail. That it, the Student will be informed whether or not he is admitted for the next academic year at the Residence Hall.
