Pedro Ballester passed away in Greygarth on Saturday 13 January 2018. A very nice article written by Fr Joe, the residence’s chaplain, can be found here. All are more than welcome to the funeral.
The funeral Mass will be at the Holy Name Church on Tuesday 23rd January at 12.30pm, followed by the burial at Southern Cemetery at 2.45pm, with a reception back at Citywise, next to Greygarth after that for all those who wish.
The previous day, on Monday 22nd January, Pedro’s body will be received in the Greygarth chapel. There’ll be Mass at 5pm and a vigil will be kept until the following morning, when he will be taken into the Holy Name for the funeral.
A coach will be available to move between Greygarth, the Church and the Cemetery on the day. If interested on a place please contact Andy Taylor (firstname.lastname@example.org or 01612242582).
For all those not able to attend the funeral, it will be streamed live on the Internet. More details about this will be available on this page and Greygarth’s Facebook page.
The address of the Church, cemetery, reception place and car parks nearby are shown below. Make sure to arrive 30-45 minutes before the start of each event, as the car parks will likely be very busy.
